Welcome to Guided Births. My name is Amanda and I am a DONA trained doula in the Cincinnati area. If you think that birthing can be an incredible adventure, it'd be an honor for me to help guide you through the finish line!
About Me:
My parents were raised in the Trenton area and I was born in Dayton (this is also where I choose to deliver my little one). I have lived in Cincinnati for over 20 years. When I started at UC, I lived in Clifton and then migrated to Mt. Auburn while working a 9-5 downtown. I then ventured north to the Fairfield area while running a family business in Butler County. I became a Realtor in 2005 and met my husband in 2006. We have been happily married since August of 2008. We were using Natural Birth Planning when we “accidentally” conceived our daughter, who was born in 2009. I feel as if I did not have adequate support the day I labored her. My doula had swine flu and could not attend. I have immersed myself in helping others so that they may not be in the same boat I was in. Achieving a goal and bringing life forward is a major accomplishment. A little guidance couldn't hurt...
